PUTTING HEIFERS OUT TO PASTURE

The Reinhold Crew moved heifers to the Little Johnson Pasture. This is a great little pasture. Good grass... It was one time the home of the Friedolph Johnson family. They homesteaded there in the early part of the last century. Victor Johnson, a son, was a good friend right up to his passing a few years ago. It was a joy to walk the old homestead site listening to his stories.

It was nearly dark when we gathered for supper. Rachel made Swedish Pancakes with a wonderful rhubarb/cream cheese filling and topped with a very favorable rhubarb sauce. Derek grilled sirloin steak. We all gathered in the dining room of our old house, grateful to our Lord for a productive and safe day. Thank you Robin, Rachel, Molly, Danny, Caleb, Julia, Kiersten, Caleb Clark and Derek Anderson.
