Yesterday Molly and I took some hay out to the horses in the breaks and saw that Mr. Tige could use a little extra feed and attention. So I cut a piece of twine and put it around his nose and rode him about 3/4 of a mile home. We are the same age, Mr. Tige and I. And we have had some pretty good memories together. He’s a special Horse and has taught me a lot over the years. He’s been in the camp string for quite a few years now. Growing kids’ love for horses and teaching them valuable lessons and giving experiences and views that most will never have!
Don’t ever underestimate the value of a good horse. Get your kids a horse, buy them that pony, teach them about responsibility, and teach them about life. You will never be sorry you spent the money on a good horse!
